Winter is over and Spring is here!  Cruise to Poulsbo and raft up in Liberty Bay with the CYC crew for fun adventures in town and a potluck aboard.  Liberty Bay is an easy anchorage and we can test our rafting and anchoring skills as taught to us by Paul Baker.  We will shoot to anchor Southwest of the Poulsbo City Marina.  We will probably have southerlies, but we will need anchors in both directions so we will want some alternating boats to anchor with their bows North.  If there are boats in process of rafting, please stand by and we will get everyone on.

You can hail S/V Monte Solaro on VHF 68 or call Dave’s cell 206-679-5370 when you are in the area to find us and to organize joining the raft.

We will have a potluck on board the raft Saturday evening and there are several pubs ashore to investigate afterwards.  I hear there is also chicken fried steak and pancakes (and other healthy options) at the Brass Kraken (ex Sheila’s Bay Cafe) on Sunday Morning.  S/V Monte Solaro will have a dinghy and can taxi back and forth, but if you have one that is easy to bring please do so.

S/V Mote Solaro will depart from Shilshole around 10:00am with an approx ETA of 12:00-1:00pm in Liberty bay if anyone wants to sail across in a group. You can text or call if you are in the area and want to join up.

Last year was sunshine most of the weekend, so cross your fingers crossed for this year…
