Skippers and Crew are invited to the Shilshole clubhouse Friday evenings for pre race activities and chalk talks. Trophies will be awarded Sunday March 26th at 1700 hours.
Center Sound Series races are open to all yachts meeting PIYA Category III requirements. Entrants must be a member of a recognized PIYA Yacht Club. Entrants must have either a 2000 PHRF Certificate on board or, if sailing in a One-Design Class only, a measurement certificate showing class compliance.
The racing rules of sailing 1997-2000 will apply except where modified by this notice of race or the sailing instructions for the Center Sound Series.
All boats are reminded to OBSERVE RULE 10 OF THE COLREGS REGARDING OPERATING VESSELS WITHIN TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEME. VHF CH 14 SHOULD BE MONITORED WHEN SAILING IN OR APPROACHING THE TSS.
Notice that the Pully point race will be a reverse start.
The 2000 Center Sound Series PHRF class rating breaks will be established on confirmed registrations to ensure top quality competition. The Corinthian Yacht Club Seattle 2000 Racebook will serve as Race Instructions for the Center Sound Series. Class breaks and starting times will be posted at the CYC Clubhouse 48 hours prior to the first start.
Registrations are due at the CYC Clubhouse by 1600 hours on the Wednesday prior to each race. A $10.00 late fee will apply to all registration received after that time.
The first warning start for each race is scheduled for 0900 on the day of race.
