New Year's Eve Cruise

The PMYC and CYC have decided to exchange the use of their club houses for this occasion and we are fortunate to be able to gather in a warm and cozy place. PMYC has good cooking facilities for warm meals. Bring food and drinks to share.

We will gather at PMYC for drinks and dinner at 05:30 PM on Monday December 31.

If you intend to come by boat please e-mail or call Fred Pot (206-850-7664 Mobile) with details about your berth so that it can be made available to a PMYC member coming to Shilshole. When you approach PMYC, hail Fred's boat, Anneke, on VHF Channel 68 to learn about berth availability.

If you intend to come by car, please see the detailed driving directions and let Fred know that you are coming.

Driving Directions to the PMYC Club House

From the ferry:

Go straight ahead north on Highway 305.

  1. Go through the stop light just up from the ferry on Winslow Way.
  2. About a mile later, go through the stop light on High School Road. (You’ll see a Chevron Station, McDonalds, etc.)
  3. About 1.2 miles later you will pass through your third stop light on Murdan Cove and Sportsmen’s Club Roads. Keep going.
  4. About another 2 miles later, you will come to your fourth stop light at Day Road. Take a hard right (starboard) and then a very quick left about 10 yards east of the intersection. This is Phelps Road and you will go past a fire station about 150 yards after making the quick left. Continue on Phelps for about two miles. You will come to the intersection of Phelps and Hidden Cove Roads. Take a hard left and leave the mark to port. Go West on hidden Cove for 0.4 miles. Along the way, you will pass Sparger loop to your right. Don’t turn, or you will end up at the wrong party at the Seattle Yacht Club out station.
  5. At about the 0.4 mile point, you will come to a to small totem pole on your right with the numbers 8478. This driveway to your right is PMYC. There is no sign.

Call Fred on his Mobile (206-850-7664) or hail him on Anneke on his portable VHF radio on Channel 68 if you get lost.
