CYC is offering a double-handed division for the upcoming Center Sound Series. Sailors wishing to sail double handed now have the opportunity to compete in this season opening series.
A single start will be offered for the “double-handed” division, assuming enough boats sign up to establish a class (5 entries). Existing eligibility requirements will apply (i.e. current PHRF certificate, PIYA Category III safety requirements).
Note: a previous announcement included the possibility of a single handed class, and stated that autopilots and/or windvanes would be allowed. This is no longer an option. Only a double-handed start is offered, without rules modifications.When you register, specify you want a double handed fleet, and then check with the club (206-789-1919 email cycsea@eskimo.com) to see whether enough boats have signed up to establish the class.
