Here are three easy ways to reserve guest moorage at Shilshole Bay Marina:
Reservations are taken at least 48 hours in advance and require a minimum notice of 24 hours for cancellation.
Guest moorage docks are H, W, and the south face of B. People are more than welcome to come in without reservations but they should call in for a slip assignment as they approach the marina. Moorage is due in advance.
Trailer storage is not allowed in the Shilshole parking lot. The exception to this rule is when a group has rented out the north end parking lot for various occasions. In those instances trailer storage is allowed for the duration of the rental. There is trailer storage available at the public boat launch at Golden Gardens through the Seattle Parks Department.
Guest Moorage rates are $1.15/ ft /night for boats less than 50 ft and $1.50/night for 50+ ft. (Rates are reduced Nov 1 to April 30.) Note that X Dock, at the far north end of the marina, is used only for launch from hoist and/or 15 minute load/unload area. Boats that need to "moor" in the marina should contact the marina to make arrangements for Short Stay (0-6 hrs at $ .25/ft) or overnight guest moorage. Boats picking up crew will not be charged short stay fees if they are there less than 15 minutes and do not tie up to the dock while loading crew or gear.
The north side of W dock that runs east and west along the dinghy floats is open for guest moorage through the marina office at the rates shown above. The section of W Dock that runs along the southwest corner of the dry storage area is a small boat and kayak launch area only, and is not designated as a guest moorage area. The new south hoist IS available for use. Contact the Marina office for hoist fees and a key to operate the hoists. The bathrooms inside the dry storage area are open to racers.
The hoist rental fee is currently $16.50 for a 1/2 hour and $33 for a full hour.
