Blue Water Sailors Bring Back Japanese Burgee

CYC member Rob Sicade, right in the upper photo, who with his wife Teresa recently completed a four-year, 30,000-mile loop around the Pacific Ocean, presented a burgee from the Osaka Tannowa Yacht Club in Japan to CYC Manager Joel Thornton. The Sicades stopped in Japan on the way home to Seattle on their Baba 40, Yohelah. "The OTYC members made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed their hospitality tremendously," said Teresa Sicade. "They now have our CYC burgee hanging in their clubhouse. In the photo below, Rob Sicade presented the CYC burgee to an official of OTYC last May.
