CYC Board Member Rusty Lhamon, standing, who oversees membership development, addressed the club's "town meeting" gathering on Friday, Sept. 10 at the Shilshole clubhouse. The meeting was organized by Commodore John Rahn, seated in the foreground, to seek input from membership on the challenges the club is facing, principally in membership trends that are putting pressure on club finances. More than 70 people attended the meeting and, among other things, showed overwhelming support for re-establishing the club's junior instructional program, which morphed into Sail Sand Point in 1998.
