These are two internet mailing lists which have been established to serve the local sailing community. Although established several years ago, the subscriber lists were lost and the lists were begun anew in March 2000. Originally, anyone could post to the list, whether or not they subscribed. To reduce junk email sent to the lists, it is now required that you subscribe to the list before you can post. You need not be a CYC member, however. Anyone can join the list.
Intended to facilitate discussion among Seattle-area racing sailors, the list is open to both CYC members and non-members alike. The list is not moderated, but the list manager may intervene if it appears that the list is being abused.
