Its not that we didn't like living in the apartment in Sydney Australia, its that we like living on the boat more.
Saturday we moved out of our highrise apartment and back onto Wings our beloved 43 foot raceboat. No the refurbishment project isn't over, but it is close to being over. Close enough that we can be again comfortably ensconced in our cosy waterborne home. The deck is done, (but due to leaks it needs to be re-done in places) the floor is done, (but due to some problems there, some of it needs to be redone, too), the refer is done, (but it is freezing our beer and wine and needs some adjustment), and there are still a page or so of other projects not yet finished, but, well, it is a boat, right? There are always projects.
The next one to work on is "ready to sail". That's still a ways off, but we have it in our sights, and we'll let you know when we do it.
Meanwhile, the setee is comfortable, the TV, Stereo, and hot shower all work, the phone is in, and everything looks bright and clean and new. We're happy.
