The CYC Cruising Fleet currently has 15 boats and 31 people currently signed up for this weekend’s Mexican Cruise to Eagle Harbor. A strong turnout for a fun theme and convenient destination in our second scheduled cruise of the year!

Boats will start arriving a little after 2pm. We have reserved the Eagle Harbor City Dock for our event; it is directly in front of “Waterfront Park”. As an alternative, some cruisers may choose to tie up to a city bouy or anchor out. We will split the $100 reservation fee among the boats that tie up to the City Dock, and those boats will also need to pay the $0.50 per foot docking fee. All very reasonable, but we just don’t want anyone to be surprised.

We will have informal happy hour on boats, and at 6pm the group will start the 0.4 mile walk up the hill to San Carlos Mexican Restaurant where we have a 6:30pm reservation. CYC has provided our Cruising Fleet with funds to pay for much of the restaurant food cost. Additional costs for Mexican beverages and food costs in excess of our CYC allowance will be accounted for and allocated among cruisers attending the dinner. I’m serving as chief accountant for this event, and will try to be as detailed and fair as reasonably possible.
