A big thanks to new members, David and Chris Hansen for jumping right in and organizing our newly named “Fiesta Cruise” which has replaced the “Pizza Cruise to Kingston”. And what a fiesta it was. We had 15 boats and 29 people (2 of which were families) show up at the City Dock in Eagle Harbor – we were rafted 3 deep at the dock. Welcome to so many new members who joined us. We even had party hats and necklaces and Corona Beer and appetizers to make a festive happy hour on the dock. Later we all walked up to San Carlos Mexican Restaurant for dinner and continued the party on a couple of boats after dinner. The weather cooperated – depending on what time the boats left Seattle, some sailed and some motored with a little rain. There was even a nice wind on Sunday afternoon for traveling home.

Sunday was mixed bag of local exploration of the heron rookery, local coffee and baked goods and the Bainbridge Art Museum. Thanks also to Garth and Wendy for their hospitality and tour of their boat building process.
