The 2016 US Western Regional J24 Championship will be a 2-day regatta held in Seattle, Washington. This is an official US SAILING sanctioned event. Local J24 fleet 26 information: www.j24fleet.com.
Dates: October 15-16, 2016
Location: Shilshole
The championships will be run concurrently with, and as part of the 2016 Puget Sound Sailing Championship (PSSC) regatta hosted by the Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle.

Off the Water
Registration
- Register as a regular participant in the CYC’s PSSC regatta.
- Supplemental Registration for Western Regional participants will be in-person at the CYC Shilshole club house on Friday evening, October 14 and Saturday morning, October 15 (see NOR for details)
Measurement
Boats will NOT be measured or weighed upon registration, but boats entering as a “qualifier” or for this Championship are subject to random inspection at any time. Inspected boats not compliant with IJCA rules will be penalized accordingly.
Sailing Instructions
- Sailing Instructions shall be per the CYC PSSR Regatta instructions unless otherwise revised on a special addendum and covered in the skippers meeting the day of the event.
Parking
- Parking and trailer storage will be arranged by CYC (details TBD)
Hoist
- Hoist service, at the sailing venue, for launch and haul will be available through arrangement with CYC at no charge
Guest Moorage
- Dockside moorage at the venue will be available, cost included in the registration fee.
Housing
Housing is available for a limited number out of town participants as guests at homes of local J24 fleet members. Contact Bill Taylor at bill.taylor123@hotmail.com for arrangements. There are also several hotels and motels within a 15 minute drive of the Shilshole venue. A good resource for finding the best hotel for you is www.booking.com. Search for hotels in the “north Seattle” area.
