It may be a bit late for Mother’s Day (the original date for this cruise), but we’re heading out to Brownsville to visit one of the smaller, more backwater marinas in the central sound. CYC has 6 slips reserved in the guest moorage on the east breakwater, look for boats with our Burgee. Once we arrive we’ll monitor channel 67.

Local attractions within walking distance: Classic Deli and Ice Cream Shop has live music by locals on Friday nights. Up the road is Sweeney’s Country Style Meats, a great local butcher shop.

Saturday: We have the Pavilion and Grill reserved for dinner; Plan to bring something; either a side dish or something for the Grill. Sunday: If there is interest we’ll have a brunch potluck

Arrive July 22: Flood tide at Agate Passage begins 10:10 AM, max flood 1:53 pm.
Depart July 23: Flood at Agate Passage begins 10:57 am, max flood 2:41 pm, ebb begins 6:59 pm
