Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle presents the Second Annual POD Regatta (PNW One Design). This two day sailing event is open to One Design Classes, Level PHRF and IRC Fleets of all experience levels. Minimum class size five boats. Round the buoys races start off Shilshole Bay at 11 am each day varying courses, distance depending on conditions.

Thursday: Jenn Whitsett of the Seattle Aquarium will be joining us again this year to talk about our resident and transient Orca populations. Come learn more about what’s happening with our local cetacean friends!

Friday: Fritz Lanziger, former CYC Sailor of the Year, International Man of Mystery, and daunting 5o5 competitor, will be sharing his insights into winning tactics and strategies. This guy knows a thing or two about winning. You definitely want to be there.

Saturday: Enjoy post-racing snacks & drinks and the musical stylings of DJ Check1,2. You’re gonna wanna bring your dancing shoes. Raffle drawing, with great items from our sponsors: CSR Marine, Ronstan, and Raptor Deck.

Sunday: Drinks & debrief, snacks & awards.

Parking

Available for vehicles and trailers in the North Parking lot from May 20-23, 2016.

Hoist

Available for use for POD registrants May 20-22, 2016.  Owner/Skipper of the boat must sign a waiver and contact Beth Sowa for the release of the hoist fob.  You may reach her at 206.883.5158.

Guest Moorage

From 2pm, May 20th to 10pm, May 22nd: in the U shape between the W and X docks

Social

Coffee and continental breakfast will be provided in the AM.

Bar will be open after racing.
