One conclusion of the “restart” meetings of the membership is that club members need to be more involved in activities beyond racing, if the club is to remain viable.  We hope to revitalize social and educational events centered at the Shilshole clubhouse.  To this end we plan regular events on the first Friday of each month.  CYC members, families, and guests are encouraged to join in these events.  Our inaugural event will be an evening of food and fun on November 4.  This will be an opportunity to suggest or even volunteer future event ideas, as well as a chance to join with other members and review your experiences sailing this year.

Our gas grill will be heated up and bar available.  Please bring something to grill and something to share (appetizer, side dish, or dessert).  We’ll have some burgers available for sale to grill as well.

Enjoy seeing photos of CYC sailing highlights for the year and watching some exciting sailing action.

Bar will open at 6 pm and the grill will be on whenever you’re ready.  Please plan to arrive by 7 pm to share in the potluck portion.  The club will be open until at least 9 pm.  So feel free to come by before or after dinner to just hang out and relax.
