Cruising | March 21-22: Port Madison Cruise
March 21-22
Leave Shilshole @1pm
Anchor/Raft near PMYC docks @2pm
An easy cross-sound sail to Port Madison is a great way to start CYC’s cruising season. Bob and Margaret Liston will be the leads for this cruise, and plan to leave Shilshole on their J-40 Tula at about 1 p.m. and anchor near the Port Madison Yacht Club docks around 2 p.m. We can raft up to socialize and enjoy a pot luck dinner aboard the boats.
We have reciprocal privileges with the Port Madison Yacht Club; however, they are having a work party that weekend and it is likely to be a busy place. Even so, those looking for an outing Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning can dinghy over to the docks for a scenic walk around the area. There is a longer and a shorter scenic loop and each offers a photo opportunity featuring a large green amphibian at a crossroads.
