Commodore Gibson Race/Cruise


August 16-17, 2014

This event is a weekend cruise / race with a potluck and overnight at Port Ludlow. This summer was warm with light winds in the morning. A postponed start with a shortened course worked for the Commodore race on Saturday. Everybody finised well before the time limit. Sunday the fog cleared in time for an 1100 warning. The race started with a light Northerly, but there was a dead spot between Pt No Pt and Kingston which caused some competitors to drop out. Later a nice NE breeze came in for the finishers.

These races have start times adjusted by handicap, so actual finish place is also handicapped finish
