Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle welcomes you to the 2014 Center Sound Series. A combination of mid distance races around central Puget Sound. This year each race includes PHRF, IRC, and casual classes. The club will be open the Friday evening before race day for socializing including an educational tactics and weather discussion.
Bruce Hedrick is a meteorologist and highly successful, longtime Puget Sound racer. He will provide briefs the day before each Center Sound race. Check again after the race for Hedrick’s race analysis.
On Fridays, the bar and kitchen will open at 6pm. Food will be available for $5. The chalk talks will begin 7pm.
Blakely Rock Weekend
Friday, February 28: Center Sound racers will gather to discuss weather and tactics for Saturdays race. The bar opens at 6pm. On the menu: Meatloaf & Seasonal Veggies for $5 or vegetarian option. Members and guests of all ages are welcome!
The bar and kitchen will also be open Saturday after racing.
Scatchet Head Weekend
Join us this Friday for our regular CYC-style casual dinner. Members and guests of all ages are welcome! Racers will gather to discuss weather and tactics for Saturdays race. You can check out Bruce Hedrick’s weather predictions for the Scatchet Head Race (Weather by Bruce Hedrick). The bar opens at 6pm. On the menu: Beef Stroganoff, Mushroom Stroganoff, and Chili Mac for the kids. Dinner is only $5.
The bar and kitchen will also be open Saturday after racing.
