Did your kids sign up for summer sailing camp and have fun? Do they want to keep sailing and even learn how to race Optis?
Junior sailors and parents are invited to a meeting at CYC to discuss our new Junior Sail Team.
Nicholas Ford is our new Junior Sail Coach. He is working with CYC and Junior Sailor parents to design an advanced sailing program that is responsive to current Junior Sailor skills and needs and will work with our Juniors throughout the year to help them develop their skills and love of sailing. The proposed schedule is for three hours of on-the-water time twice per month in the fall, once per month in the winter, and twice per month in the spring.
If your young sailors are interested in participating, please attend our initial parent meeting downstairs at CYC on September 12 at 5:30pm. We will discuss logistics and scheduling for our advanced Junior Sailor program.
