The Corinthian Yacht Club is a member-run organization. All events and activities are organized by members for members. What kind of events/activities? The list is endless. The idea of the Yacht Club came about from a discussion in a ski hut.

At the beginning of each month, we have a Social Event Team Meeting at 7pm.  We have dinner, socialize, and brainstorm ideas around various themes. If a few people are interested in organizing an event, then they take the lead and other interested members are asked to help with various tasks.

Getting involved in the Social Event Team meeting is a great way to meet other members and help make things happen at CYC.

Upcoming Social Event Team Meetings are held at CYC on Thursdays at 7pm:

• Oct 8: Focus is on developing holiday events (including Halloween) and brainstorming guest speakers for Thursday evenings January through March.
• Nov 5 :Focus is on linking CYC members without boats to members with boats and creating a variety of sailing opportunities.
• Dec 4: Decorate CYC for the holidays and discuss details for the Christmas Ship Parade and Christmas party.
• Jan 7: Finalize guest speakers for Thursday evenings January through March.
• Feb 4: Plan Women’s Sailing Series.
• March 3, Thursday 7:00 PM. To be determined.
• April 7: To be determined.
• May 5: Plan casual Friday races and linking CYC members to boats.
• June 2: Plan summer activities.

July through August – Meetings suspended
