CYC Opti Clinics: Schedule & Registration
Throughout the year, CYC runs One-Day and Weekend (3+ days) Opti Racing Clinics. Clinics typically run 9am-4pm.
Full-Week Clinic: $300
Weekend Clinic: $275
$300 for first time participant includes a CYC Junior Membership
$150 for single-day participation
One-Day Clinic: $50
These clinics are for intermediate to advanced sailors who must provide their own boat. There are only 12 spots per clinic so register early.

Streett Silvestri
Street Silvestri coaches one-day optimist clinics for advanced Opti sailors designed to focus on focusing on tuning, boat handling, and starts.
Pablo Weber
Pablo Weber coaches weekend clinics for advanced Opti sailors. Pablo, an Argentinian national and Optimist Dinghy Sailing Coach, is internationally renowned for his extraordinary talent. As a Sailing Coach he has more than 20 years of experience coaching the world’s elite Optimist sailors, and leading the Argentinian National Team, the Paraguay National Team, the Chilean National Team, the Singapore National Team, the Myanmar National Team and the Bermuda National Team to win international sailing competitions.
Like the birds of Capistrano, Pablo Weber returns to the Corinthian Yacht Club in 2015 for yet another year of great Optimist coaching.
Pablo’s strengths are particularly suited to enabling a young person to achieve mastery and proficiency to their potential. He is well liked and respected by the families that participate in his clinics and coaching.
Gordon Lamphere
Gordon is on the US Olympic Development team in the Finn class, and had a stellar career as a junior laser sailor before graduating to the Finn.
Refund Policy for Junior Sail Camp and Clinics
Registrations that are cancelled more than 4 weeks before the first day of class will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee. Registrations cancelled within 4 weeks of the first day of class will only be refunded if CYC is able to fill the vacated spot, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued once a class has started. CYC reserves the right to cancel programs that do not meet the minimum number of participants, and will attempt to place participants in an alternate program or, if unable, will issue a refund.
