Yes, you can cruise in your racing boat.  Learn from John Cahill’s experience, an avid sailboat racer, about his adventures with his family aboard his racing boats. Offering recommendations for racing sailors interested in cruising in our plentiful waters of the Northwest.  John and Barbara will cover boat preparation, planning and menu ideas based on their cruising experiences aboard his Ross 930 Gaucho over the past 15 years.

Friday, February 7 – Jon Howe

Four year cruise in Central America, Florida, and the Caribbean

Jon Howe will give his perspective on two very different journeys aboard his Outbound 44 Akimbo.  In 2009 and 2010 he sailed mostly alone from Seattle via Central America to Florida,  and in 2013 he sailed back by way of the Caribbean Islands and with the help of 34 crew via 16 rendezvous.
